Driver CPC - Certificate of Professional Competence
Drivers CPC is now a mandatory qualification for anyone who drives a
vehicle over 3.5 tonnes for a living unless you fall under an exemption.
There will be a small number of exemptions however if you're a professional
heavy ((HGV) or large goods vehicle (LGV) driver (C1, C1+E, C, C+E) or PCV
equivalent, then Driver CPC is an ongoing obligation.
If you are an individual driver looking to keep your Driver CPC training up
to date we can help.
There are two types of Driver CPC training - Initial and Periodic
Initial
is for new drivers that gained their driving licence after 1997
The Driver CPC initial qualification has two parts:
MOD 2 - case study test
We offer full help and support for MOD 2 preparation.
MOD 4 - practical demonstration test
Training and testing can be held at either of our depots.
Periodic is classroom based training for drivers who either gained acquired rights by passing their driving licence before 1997 or already holds a DQC and wishes to continue driving professionally.
For groups and companies we are always able to provide tailored courses
based around your requirements.
Onsite training, you may prefer to have one of our professional trainers
come to you to train your drivers. If you haven't got a suitable training room available, we can arrange and hire a room locally.
